I’ve been slowly reading through the Old Testament for the last several months. At the beginning, I wasn’t looking forward to many of the books like Leviticus, Numbers, and Judges. The heaviness in them appeared boring daunting, but I have been amazed at how much God has taught me about my heart, His character, and unrelenting love through dreaded books! Something that stood out in several passages was how God would instruct His people to act and tell them that the result was already done.
